Man gropes woman in downtown Princeton Tuesday evening
A woman was walking south on Moore Street at the intersection of Park Place when a man approached her from behind and grabbed her buttocks. The unknown man then ran west on Park Place, police said. The incident happened just after 6 p.m. Tuesday.
The woman described her assailant as Hispanic, said he was possibly in his 30s, and is about 5’4”, with a medium to slightly heavy build. She said he was wearing a dark-colored beanie-style winter hat, a white surgical mask, and a navy blue jacket.
Police said It is unknown if this incident is related to the prior criminal sexual contacts that occurred in Princeton in the past. Since 2014, more than 14 women have reported to police that they were groped in Princeton. Most of the descriptions of the incidents and the suspect who groped the women are very similar.
