Princeton Board of Education Candidate Forum 2024

Learn more about the candidates for the Princeton Board of Education. Six residents are seeking three-year terms on the board. The volunteer board approves spending, sets policies, and develops long-range planning priorities for the Princeton Public Schools.

Each candidate introduced themselves and shared their views on critical issues such as fiscal discipline, teacher retention, book banning, and school policies on race and diversity.

  1. Would you post a translation of candidate Erica Snyder’s Spanish language response. The majority of Princeton residents have not benefitted from a public school dual language immersion program compliments of taxpayer funds. The other candidates spoke only in English. Maybe in the interest of equity we could have the presentation translated to Spanish, Mandarin and Hebrew so all stakeholders can properly decide on a representative board.

      1. If you upload the video in YouTube, you can add multiple subtitles in over 200 languages in case it is helpful for the future. Thanks for posting this video. It has helped me clarify where people stand on certain issues. This was great.
